MedsBla is being presented this week at Arab Health. It is one of the biggest events in the health sector of the Middle East. The fair is held in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) from January 28 to 31. Participating exhibitors are from about 70 countries, among which is MedLab Media Group (MMG). The Spanish start-up has an office in the city of Dubai. This joins the offices opened by the company in Mumbai, Mexico City and Madrid.
MMG has already participated in the Global Health Exhibition, held in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), in September. Participation in this event coincided with the worldwide launch of MedsBla. Since then, the platform has achieved about 100,000 registered users. In the case of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, MedsBla monthly grows by 120%.
Any hospital or healthcare institution generates enormous amounts of communications. These can provide managers with valuable insights. However, the volume of data is often complex and unstructured. This makes it go unnoticed by managers. The solution to this problem is MedsBla, an innovative encrypted communication system.
Any user can download the application and is free to share sensitive information securely. The tool complies with European (GDRP) and US (HIPAA) data protection regulations, the strictest regulations worldwide. It also inclusive of Blockchain technology, which validates the authenticity of the messages sent and senders themselves.
Similarly, MedsBla offers other tools, such as specialized news, 3D anatomy, and pharmacological guide. Everything is available in the open version of the application, which also has a premium version designed for medical centres or institutions. They can customize their space and manage the information. This increases security and reduces costs.
In addition to presenting MedsBla, MMG brings to Arab Health the rest of the technology it offers to the healthcare sector. Among them is DeepAIMed, a medical search engine based on Artificial Intelligence. The tool is based on a proprietary algorithm that allows analysis of medical texts to provide relevant and accurate information. This helps medical professionals in obtaining interesting data for their decision making.
Artificial intelligence is present in other projects of MMG, which also works in quantum computing. In these and other innovations, a team of 75 highly specialized people work from the different offices of the company. The company was born at the end of 2015 to offer the doctor of the future with tools that make their daily work life easier.
